Being compared to Vincent van Gogh in crystallising time in his art works, French photographer Jean-Luc Mylayne’s first solo exhibition in mainland China, titled The Autumn of Paradise, showcases 40 photos spanning 40 years of his career. Meticulously composed and technically difficult to achieve the effect, Mylayne’s photos usually focus on one particular bird against the backdrop of a wild landscape that shows human habitation.
