This event has now passed.The Changjiang International Music Festival returns for 2015 with Disney child star-turned-pop princess Demi Lovato and German heavy metal act Scorpions headlining. The latter will be kicking off their 50th anniversary world tour as part of this two-day music festival on Shiyazhou 'music island' in the middle of the Yangtze River, around an hour-long gaotie ride away from Shanghai.
Scorpions headline the first day (they're scheduled for 8.30pm), with US act Rapscallions on before them and Lanzhou folk-rockers Low Wormwood (3pm) and old-school Chinese rock outfit Second Hand Rose (4pm) the other highlights from day one.
Demi Lovato closes the festival at 8.30pm on day two, with American rock band Madison performing just before her and world music act David James Hoffman and Yampapaya Tribe headlining the second stage (7.40pm).
