In Kids Eye View, we asked Shanghai's students to review some of the city's most popular children's attractions to see if they really do make for a good family day out
Ripley’s Believe It or Not
The reporters Ebony and Hannah Slyth, Grade 3 and Grade 1, YK Pao School.
We visited Ripley’s Believe It or Not
since it was right outside The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel (which we visited first, read our write up here
). The first part of Ripley’s was rubbish! The second half in the magic fun house was much better. We were very excited about going here and had been asking our mum a lot to take us. You could take photos that looked 3D and real, it was amazing – definitely bring a camera with you.
Unlike The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel
even our parents enjoyed this part. Some of the pictures could have done with a little repainting and touching up, but overall there wasn’t anything we disliked about this part of the attraction and it’s much more suitable for slightly older kids, around age eight. There were some food and drink options and souvenirs near the entrance, but nothing interesting.
