Mai Mai performs experimental sounds in Yangpu this Friday
So it's exit On Stage this weekend, with the JZ-backed livehouse making way (along with the rest of Red Town) for what'll likely be some office blocks or run-of-the-mill retail development. On Stage hasn't always enjoyed a consistency of programming that might have helped it build a more regular audience, but there have still been some good shows at the venue. Whether the brand is revived in a different location remains to be seen, but either way, this Saturday marks the final show at the Red Town incarnation.
