We've made it halfway through Shanghai's winter (without central heating we might add) and as our battles with rain and freezing winds continue, we may now also have to start thinking about snow.
The National Meteorological Centre has issued yellow cold alerts
for central and eastern China. Including Shanghai's neighbouring provinces Jiangsu and Anhui, many cities are set to welcome the lowest temperatures and first snow of the winter next week.
According to the forecast, temperatures will dip below freezing on Monday – a perfect excuse to grab a hot chocolate
