Museum hours aren’t exactly friendly to 9-to-5 workers. So starting this month and going until September, nearly a dozen museums in Huangpu district are extending their Friday hours – some to as late as 9.30pm – as part of a ‘Museums at Night’ trial.

The participating museums include the Shanghai Museum, the Shanghai History Museum, Liuli China Museum and some smaller ones like the International Table Tennis Federation Museum. Bear in mind this is all part of a trial, so dates and times may change. Read on for the full list of dates and venues, and how to get tickets.
