US diner broadens its burger range with a Mediterranean flavour

American diner Bistro Burger has new management and a new menu with an even broader burger selection made from 100 per cent Australian beef.

New varieties include the ‘California’ with blue cheese, avocado salsa, bacon and mango chutney (70RMB), and the 'Argentine' topped with cheddar & mozzarella cheese, chorizo and chimichurri (75RMB).

For vegetarians there is the 'Hippie Veggie' (60RMB) with a pattie made from mushroom, peppers, onion, pumpkin and tofu, topped with cheese and pesto.

The new menu also includes spiked shakes made with French liquors, such as the 'Nutty Professor' made with cheesecake, amaretto and vanilla ice cream (50RMB).As well as their classic chips they are also offering twister fries and tater tots to the sides menu.


The 'Hippie Veggie'

On Saturday nights they’re offering a ‘more refined dinner theme’ by chef Hugo Rodriguez focusing on French, Latin and Mediterranean flavours or for big appetites try the Belt Buster Challenge (main picture). Finish their triple decker burger with everything, served with fries and classic shake in 20 minutes and get your name on the 'wall of champions'.
