Lolo Love Vintage reopens

Queen of Shanghai's retro scene moves to Yongfu Lu

After a rather hurried temporary closure in May, queen of the retro scene Lolo Love Vintage has opened up a new store just a stone’s throw from their original Wuyuan Lu premises. A former art gallery, the sprawling space has been decked out in true Lolo style, with crystal chandeliers, antique dolls and racks of gorgeous vintage threads.

There’s almost double the amount of stock here than at the previous store, the fruits of Lolo’s recent three-week-long sourcing trip to Los Angeles, with a new focus on the ‘20s-‘40s period. Other new aspects are a dedicated ‘80s corner and a vintage wedding dress collection, for brides looking for something a bit different.

There’s also a ‘salon de the’ lounging area at the front of the store, where you can sit and admire your purchases. Sadly, though there is some outside space, there are currently no plans to re-introduce the courtyard café. Nonetheless, Lolo’s can be sure of a warm welcome back.
