It's Thanksgiving this week, which if you are American or a fan of turkey, is a pretty big deal. Friends, family, your career, Time Out Shanghai, whatever you're thankful for, there are plenty of places across the city to celebrate turkey day. Not interested? Well, luckily there's loads of other great stuff going on this week, including Shanghai's unofficial cocktail week and two Christmas markets despite it still being November, which is totally fine.

Feeling A Moment Tour: Feeder Live in Shanghai

 Feeder is coming to Bandai Namco Future House to celebrate their 21st anniversary as a band. In the '90s, Londoner Grant Nicholas and Tokyo-born bassist Tara Hirose secured themselves a spot as one of Britain's most iconic rock bands. Altered State: Deciphering Urban in the Art of Chen Xuanrong and Huang Yulong

Art+ Shanghai Gallery presents a duo exhibit of two artists influenced by hip-hop and street culture, Chen Xuanrong and Huang Yulong. Their works make statements about their identities and surroundings, not attempting to establish guidelines for urbanity in China, but rather expressing a fascination with it. Huang sculpts a 'new face' with Chinese iconography in hoodies, while Chen paints urban graffitied environments on canvas. Together, the pair creates a modern concept of individuality in China.
