8 highlights from the new Natural History Museum

Some of our favourite sights from the enormous new museum

We came, we saw, we took loads of images. There are more than 10,000 artefacts on show at the newly reopened Natural History Museum, found on the grounds of Jingan Sculpture Park, and we've put together a gallery of some of our favourites. We highly recommend you get down there and check them out yourself, though - just make sure you've got at least four hours to spare, because that's the recommended time to spend in the museum. Yup, there's that much to see.

Natural History Museum is at 399 Haiguan Lu, near Datian Lu. See full address details

The oviraptor. It moves, it squawks, it can recite poetry (OK, maybe not that last bit).
