While the towering beer shelves of Cheers In are almost overwhelming in their scale, the range on offer - over 150 beers from more than 25 countries, and counting - soon makes you realise that this is a treasure trove of international beer.
Bottles (and some cans) fill every available space in the store and there are some serious beers here - Estrella Damm's Inedit (55RMB/750ml), for example, a coriander, liquorice and orange peel-flavoured barley malt and wheat beer developed by the team at El Bulli (it's also available at Bikes and Friends for 120RMB).
There's also a good price range, however, meaning that trying a new beer needn't break the bank. Bottles of Istanbul's lager of choice, Efes (330ml), for example, start from just 12 RMB, while the standard version of Estrella Damm is 15RMB/330ml.
Other tipples that caught our eye include the Double Chocolate Stout from Young's (18RMB/440ml), which adds a chocolate aftertaste to the British brewery's classic dark beer, and the Belgian Trappist beer Orval (28RMB/330ml) which is labelled at 6.2 per cent, but may be as strong as 7.2 per cent depending on how long it was allowed to stand after brewing.
Given the dizzying array of beers on offer, it can be hard to know where to start, but besides names such as Delirium Tremens or Duchess de Bourgogne, there are more familiar titles such as Leffe, Rogue and Guinness on offer from 15RMB/330ml too.
If you can't wait to try one of their beers, there is a singular streetside table outside where you can stop for a bottle or two as well.
