Recently refurbished to 'Blu' standard, The Radisson Blu Hotel Pudong Century Park features a fresh, clean decor and a full glass frontage. Fitting the 'art hotel' tag, designers have commissioned a number of modern art pieces to line the lobby, including two show-stopping sculptures outside the reception.
Inside, there are new black marble floors plus New Zealand wool carpets, in-room TVs have been updated to 46” HD Sony Flat Screens, while bathrooms have state of the art showers with enhanced water pressure settings and LED lighting has also replaced the old lamps to become more environmentally friendly.
Their recently updated new Mediterranean restaurant Porcini has also been refreshed with a new menu of tasty dishes including Clay Pot Tajine, Walnut Parfait and more.
There's also a bizarre Tron-inspired bar, Bytes 101, complete with futuristic neon lighting and motorcycles. Sports facilities include an outdoor pool - perfect for Shanghai's all-too-short spring - a fully equipped fitness centre, and a tennis court.
Rooms start from 1200RMB/night (excluding breakfast).
