Tucked inside a secret alley in Tianzifang is this four-year-old gem covered with quaint photographs, colourful prayer flags and dazzling beer bottle caps. The squeaky wooden floor, narrow staircase and ethereal music originating from the Tibetan Plateau further enhance the immersive sensory experience as one gulps down beers made from barleys and melt snow of the highlands.

Pizza lovers will be over the moon to find yak meat pizza (88RMB) and silverweed (called ‘fruit of life’ in the menu) pizza (68RMB) for a cross-cultural treat. Vegans can savour any one of Tibetan potato chips (36RMB), Lhasa bean curd (68RMB) or carrageen seaweed salad (38RMB) for appetizer before diving into the Lhasa noodle (38RMB), made with goji, silverweed, raisins and dates, for a hearty meal of faint sweetness and meager portion.
