Previously only available in hotel spas, the most virtuous soap, skin and hair care range in China is now for sale on Changle Lu.
Named after a mountain range on the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau, Ba Yan Ka La is all about the very best of nature in China. For example, the ingredients include glacial mineral water from the mountain range it’s named after and traditional Chinese medicines like Chinese mulberry (detoxifying), liquorice (balancing), goji berry (strengthening), lotus seed (nourishing) and Tibetan roseroot (anti-oxidant). The result is soap with seriously high integrity: synthetic-free, fair trade, biodegradable packaging and absolutely not tested on animals.
All this integrity comes at a price of course, a bottle of goji berry shampoo is 208RMB/300ml, Tibetan roseroot purifying natural soap is 158RMB/250g and coix seed facial cleanser is 188RMB/100ml. No one said the virtuous path was easy.
