This market is a haven for vintage and retro addicts, with stalls crammed with kitsch jumpers and classic coats – all for a tenth of the price of many vintage boutiques in town. Spread out in two enclosures either side of Anshun Lu, the market is a mishmash of cheap, mass-produced fashion howlers and secondhand treasures (the main customers are low-income Shanghainese), such as second-hand leather jackets and silk scarves.
A rummage never fails to yield some dirt cheap retro gems. Head to Stall X13 for a huge selection of battered leatherware, including Debbie Harry-esque skirts for just 80RMB.
