Check out a selection of works from the 2020 finalists of Leica Oskar Barnack Award (LOBA). Named after the designer of the first Leica camera, the award – now celebrating its 40th anniversary – recognises photography that focuses on the relationship between humans and the environment. On the lineup, there are works from Luca Locatelli that question our currently economic system, an exposition of the Lisbon housing crisis by Gonçalo Fonseca, Matthew Abbott on the wildfire in Australia and more. The exhibition also shows selected works from the award’s 40-year archive.
