High-energy roller rink bar
RIINK is skating on to a new future. In June, the two-year-old venue – run by a team including Ting Ting Liang of LBT bar
Roxie – will be moving from its semi-far flung home on Dapuqiao Lu into an undisclosed location on Shaanxi Lu in the centre of town. While details are still sparse on RIINK's next evolution, Liang says we can expect the new location to be 'bigger and bolder' and that it will also be expanded into an all-day concept from its current evenings-only hours.
Before RIINK 2.0 opens in June, you can get your skate on at the original through May 31 with a host of events like this weekend's Retro-Futro Roller Disco (Fri 15) and Old School AF! (Sat 16), and the RIINK 1.0 closing party Rolling Out (Sat 30). Two specials will be on offer for RIINK's WeChat followers as well – a drink and skates for 99RMB or free-flow and skates for 248RMB. Roll on!
