We tried baijiu-flavoured Pocky and it’s exactly what it says it is

Baijiu is a hard enough flavour to mix into cocktails, but Pocky? Hip baijiu brand Jiangxiaobai has collaborated with Japanese snack brand Glico for a special edition of the sweet-coated biscuits in one of the most OTT crossovers of late.

Nothing about the experience is subtle. From the first overpowering whiff on opening to the pungent sorghum liquor bite of the biscuit stick and the lingering aftertaste, you won’t forget that it’s a baijiu collab. Level up by taking advice on the back of the box and dipping your Pocky into a tall glass of the hard stuff. We’ll leave that for you to try... A+ for effort and execution (maybe even *too* good). If you love the spirit already, you’ll be pleased, but we can’t say we’re newly minted baijiu evangelists.
