Taiwanese retro psychedelic band Crocodelia returns to Shanghai’s shores tomorrow (Wed 10) for a one-night show at Yuyintang. Its one-of-a-kind sound draws inspiration from '60s psychedelic rock bands like The Electric Prunes, Jefferson Airplane, The Doors and Black Sabbath. The band also captures the vivid colours of various cultures in its songs, fusing traditional Indian, Turkish and Egyptian sounds.

Formerly known as Glue Admiral, the band was originally a two-piece act founded by brothers: vocalist and guitarist Yufu and bassist Frog. Inspired by the classic rock band game Guitar Hero, the pair began practicing drums and creating music in their basement at home before drummer Xindao and keyboardist Bebo joined the band in 2018. Since then, they've released an EP, Out Of The Swamp, and have toured neighbouring countries like Japan.
