Who knew you could horse ride in the centre of Shanghai? Set in the Caohejing Development Zone, YCL Riding Center is a hotspot for the city's horse lovers offering lessons for all levels of riders, from complete beginners to experienced equestrians.

The centre – which is easily accessible via metro Line 9 – is kitted out with an international-standard arena and has a team of high-quality coaches headed by Gerlinde Plate, all of whom are trained according to either German Equestrian Federation or British Horse Society teaching standards. As for the horses themselves, YCL brings in warm-blooded breeds from Europe (considered to be great all-rounders, warm-blooded horses are a safe bet for all levels).
