Japanese restaurant Kidono specialises in Kansai-style Kanto cooking with a menu spread between sashimi, skewers, fried snacks and oden. While the menu plays some with local ingredients – such as bamboo shoot sashimi and sweet shrimp tartare with Chinese anchovies – those who want their fix of more familiar Japanese favourites will also find beef tongue yakitori, curry chicken and chazuke (tea poured over rice).
