Wei Xiang Zhai has been slinging sesame-peanut noodles from the first floor of an historic Old Xuhui building for decades. Most of the diners can be found slurping on the majiang mian (麻酱面) with a side of beef curry broth soup (niuroutang 牛肉汤).
