Coffee Belt has some serious
streetscape appeal. Light, bright
and colourful, it’s hard to miss the
cafe’s name emblazoned on the
white walls outside as you’re walking
past on Shaanxi Nan Lu, just south
of the iAPM mall.
From the moment we spotted this
newcomer, we saw its potential to
become a laptop warrior haven. The
space is comfortable, the coffee
relatively affordable and there’s
enough food on the menu to keep
you sated, or to help excite during
moments of procrastination.
Alongside a range of juices and
teas, there’s a rich and strong
Americano (25RMB, hot or iced) and
a silky smooth - if a tad milky - flat
white (28RMB, hot or iced).
From the food menu, you’ll find a
range of paninis from The Panini Pro including a
good, but not mind-blowing ‘classic’
ham and cheese (32RMB). If you’re
still hungry, try the not-too-sweet
blueberry cheesecake (32RMB); it’ll help
cure any dessert cravings without inducing a sugar crash.
Although the food might not wow
for the moment, the coffee and fitout
of this stylish cafe make it well
worth a visit. Don’t miss the fun
world map made from coffee beans
on the wall.
