This 3,438 sqm shop has trumped Chengdu's Muji outlet as the biggest in Mainland China. There are three floors of minimalist Muji-ness, including a cafe, book store, event space, area for creating your own fragrances and designs, reading room and concept store from Japanese retailer IDEE.
The 'book store' is spread out over the three floors. There's a decent selection of English-language design magazines (think Wallpaper*, Life Magazine, and the Brand Magazines), as well as children's books in English, French, and Chinese. Otherwise, flip through some nicely illustrated Japanese travel guides and lifestyle titles.
Along with these new touches are all our favourite Muji ranges - homewares, stationary, an expanded line of clothes, and plenty of cool, minimalist goods.
