Magirock, just off Nanjing Dong Lu metro station, is the most centrally-located climbing gym in Shanghai. Its convenience comes with drawbacks though. The gym’s small size means general crowding and less routes, but you’ve still got a nice and tall rope climbing wall and a neat and nicely-set bouldering wall with an overhang. Also, Magirock is located within a larger fitness center that has weight rooms, billiard halls, table tennis and more. Very convenient.
