Having moved to a new space on Shaanxi Bei Lu, just around the corner from its previous location in the Kangding cluster, The Shed is still a relaxed laidback space for cheap, quality drinks with a healthy dose of live sports screenings, including Aussie rules football.
The range of beers on offer is unsurprisingly strong. Guinness (45RMB/pint), Kronenbourg (35RMB/pint, 140RMB/pitcher) and Carlsberg (25RMB/pint, 100RMB/pitcher) are all on tap with eleven more quality beers available by the bottle, including Bombardier, Dead Guy, Newcastle Brown, Brooklyn Pale and Estrella Damm at 35RMB.
Reasonably priced options for non-beer drinkers are on the menu too with spirits starting from 25RMB/glass, 400/bottle with the most expensive, a 12 year-old Macallan single malt, still only costing 50RMB/glass, 750RMB/bottle. Wines are available by the bottle along with four glasses all at 35RMB each.
The new space also boasts a much larger kitchen, meaning the food menu of comforting pub grub, such as burgers, pizzas and chicken wings will continue to grow.
